Douglas Watson

Watson Douglas John in his 73rd year passed away suddenly on January 3, 2012 at his lifelong residence of R.R. #1 Dobbinton. Doug enjoyed working for many years as a TV repairman for Denomy's TV in Chesley. After leaving Denomys, he continued raising beef cattle until his death. He was a devoted, life-long member of Centenary United Church where he will be deeply missed. In his later years, Doug developed a passion for vintage cars and enjoyed touring car shows and aquiring his own collection. Doug is predeceased by his parents Olla (Prescott) and John Watson, sister Beth and brothers Gordon and Bill. He will be sadly missed by his neighbouring nephew Dennis and his wife Laurie, sister-in-law Helen Watson of Tara and niece Tracey Watson and her husband Mark Bugdale of Cambridge. Doug was a very special Great-Uncle to Abby and Emma Watson and in July became Great-Uncle to Chloe and Colton Bugdale.
